November 16-17, 2020 on the basis of the Department of Architecture of Buildings and Structures and Architectural Environment Design, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts held an International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Evolution of imaginations in architectural and art education: a look into the future".
The conference was attended by more than 25 leading establishments and institutions of higher education in Ukraine and 8 leading foreign educational institutions, namely from Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Greece, Estonia and China. In total, more than 160 theses were submitted.
The conference began with a greeting by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, O. M. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy, Professor Ryshchenko T. D., who focused on trends of development in creative specialties in Ukraine and the world, and outlined the strategy of development for architectural education at O. M. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy

During the speeches, the issues of preserving traditions and combining the latest approaches in architectural education were discussed. Many participants of the conference considered the development of creative skills of students-architects and the introduction of dual education, with the involvement of students and teachers in creative competitions, foreign internships, participation in work-shops and creative start-ups. An important thesis in most of the speakers was the emphasis on increasing the practical training of students in professional disciplines and the involvement of teachers-practitioners.
According to the results of the international scientific-practical Internet conference "Evolution of imaginations in architectural and art education: a look into the future" each conference participant will receive a certificate and a corpus of abstracts.
At the end of the conference, all participants expressed hope for the upcoming creative meeting at the Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy!
